Bacalar, one of the charming magical towns in southern Mexico, invites you to an unparalleled visual spectacle with its 7 shades of blue that breathe life into the “Lagoon of the 7 Colors.” This enchanting corner not only offers breathtaking panoramic views but also hosts ancient stromatolites, ancestral life forms in the shape of stones, which have even captured NASA’s attention, leading to periodic expeditions here. The crystal-clear waters of the lagoon rival tropical destinations like Aruba, but without the salinity that characterizes other places.
Our tour, meticulously designed for cruise tourists arriving in Costa Maya from the international port, provides you with a tailored experience. It is tailored for ships with 5 hours or more of docking time. At Discovery Bacalar, safety is our top priority. Itinerary:
- Check-in at the Booth (15 minutes)
- Transfer to Bacalar (1 hour and 10 minutes)
- Boat Tour on Bacalar Lagoon, including visits to the Black Cenote and Emerald Cenote, Swimming Time at the Pirate’s Channel in Bacalar Lagoon (2 hour)
- Lunch Break at One of Bacalar’s Finest Restaurants (50 minutes)
