Costa Maya is located in the southern part of the state of Quintana Roo in Mexico, and is the second largest port in cruise ship arrivals in the country, despite this, Costa Maya is a small town (not an island) that it is located in the center of 3 major marine ecological reserves, Sian Ka’an (north), Banco Chinchorro (east) and the marine reserve of Xcalak (south). What makes marine life or biomass, as some experts known, outbreak of life with many colorful species that give this coral reef an important relevance (not to mention the American continent is the largest coralline reef) activity snorkeling tour.
