Scuba Diving in Costa Maya: Whether you are a beginner or a veteran diver, we are in the best spot to view the magnificent underwater world of the Caribbean. Our PADI certified dive master will define your skill level. Choose from shipwreck or reef dives, deep or shallow water.

The discovery diving course is available for those who have never been diving before. You will be given a short basic course to learn the fundamentals then you can enjoy the experience of several wonderful dive sites that are chosen for your skill level. You will always be guided by certified diving instructors that will show you the secrets of the Costa Maya reef.

Enjoy the wonders of the flora and fauna of the second largest coral reef system in the world. The beauty of the clear and tranquil waters are something you really don’t want to miss.

Tour includes:

  • Certified dive masters
  • ALL equipment (bring your own if you like, but it’s not necessary)
  • Water and soft drink

Minimum age: 12

What to bring: Certification (PADI, IDEA, NAUI, SSI, CMAS, NASDS, YMCA). Beach wear and sun screen.

Tour Length: 1-tank dive – 1.5 hours, 2-tank dive – 3 hours, Discovery Diving Course – 3 hours

Our dive sites

Old Light House 35-50 ft.

Amazing Site for drift diving, recommended for experienced divers, there are not walls and the visibility is very good doe to the permanent current

Buccaneer’s Anchor 40-110 ft.

Huge barrier sponges are along this part of the reef. Following the winding reef, some small tunnels the divers can swim through by great variety of alga’s and corals.

40 Cannons 55-110 ft.

This site has several spectacular cannons and a wide diversity of hard and soft corals along its walls, there are different types of sponges.

The Steps 35-90 ft.

This is the most visited site, it has the best feef fish variety in the area, sea tortles are around often. Also there are cannons and the corals look like gardens.
